Firefox Preview now lets you open links in other apps

Mozilla has published an update for the Firefox Preview app on the Google Play Store and is available for download. This is the second update sent to the app after being made publicly available on Google Play and the app now has version number 1.1.0.

If you didn’t know, Firefox Preview that uses the GeckoView engine will be the next Firefox app for Android to replace Fennec. Firefox Preview App is currently under development and available with collections, tracking protection, dark theme, private browsing mode and allows you to sync your browsing history, saved logins and bookmarks across all your devices.

1. Usability improvements for bookmarks, synchronization, and collections.

2. Stability and web compatibility improvements.

3. You can now open links in other installed applications. For example, you can open a link to directions on Google Maps.
