Gmail Now Allows You To Restore Contact List To Previous State

If you accidentally deleted a contact or a contact list, don’t worry Gmail now allows you to restore the contact list to the previous state in the last 30 days. As Gmail allows the option to undo a sent message, Gmail now gives you a second chance to recover your deleted Gmail contacts as well.

To restore contacts to previous Gmail state

1. Right click the + sign in the sidebar to expand Mail, click “Contacts”.

2. From the More Actions drop-down menu, select “Restore Contacts” and choose the time to restore to.

3. Gmail restores your contacts to the same state they were in at the chosen moment, all contacts added or not existing at that moment will be deleted, but you can always undo this restoration.
