Download the program zip file, extract its contents to a folder and run the New Menu Editor executable, which displays all entries present in the New menu in the right pane with new file types to add in the left pane.

You can remove unnecessary entries shown in the right pane by selecting and clicking the trash can icon, for example, you can remove contact file, journal document and other entries one by one. If you check New Menu after removal, these entries will not appear. You can add them back by searching for file type and adding the file type from the list to the New menu.

Enter the file type in the search box you want to add and click the Search icon, select the file type from the results shown in the left pane and click the + button where a dialog box appears select the file type as Template File empty or preset and click OK to add to the new menu that appears in the right pane and New Menu after editing. Empty file means the byte file with no data.

New menu editor works on Windows XP/Vista/7, you need to install .Net Framework 3.5 on your computer to work.
