No, KB4467708 did not fix notifications issue in Windows 10 1809

Microsoft has resumed Windows 10 v1809 release after exiting due to a data loss issue and as part of their November 2018 Patch Tuesday they also released KB4467708 Cumulative Update for devices that have already installed the October 2018 update. The update increases the Windows OS build number to 17763,134, we were expecting the software giant to send fixes for the task manager and the notifications bugs which have already been fixed in the build from Insider 19H1 with this Cumulative Update for Windows 10 1809, but it didn’t, at least we can confirm that it pertains to Notifications after installing this update.

Cumulative Update KB4467708 (Windows 10 build 17763.134)

The cumulative update, in addition to providing security updates for Edge and Internet Explorer, also provides protection against speculative storage bypass vulnerability (CVE-2018-3639) for AMD computers. on a second time.

Note: On our system, we noticed that the update failed to install on the first attempt, but it succeeded afterward as we can confirm on the Update History page in Windows 10 settings that it displayed error 0x8024200d for installation failed.

Action Center not showing Notifications Bug, not fixed

In case you didn’t know, the Windows 10 v1809 that was pulled, has several other bugs and still needs to be fixed even when you install the latest cumulative update. Action Center not showing notifications when background apps are disabled is a recognized and fixed issue in internal builds by MS, but the fix was not added to this CU, we don’t know why.
