Version 6.2.3 for Notepad++ being said by the developer as (possible) End of World edition has been released and is available for download. Notepad++ 6.2.3 fixed bugs in v6.2.2 and added some new features, notable are the addition of the ability to remove empty lines and the “delete file” command has been changed to “Move to Recycle Bin”.
To remove empty lines in a text file opened in Notepad++, from the Edit menu in the program, choose “Remove Empty Lines” from the “Line Operations” submenu.
To move the current open file to the trash, right-click on the tab and select Move to trash or you can also select the same command from the File menu.
In previous versions, Delete file command delete file from disk without sending to Recycle Bin, this version moves deleted file to Recycle Bin, from there you can permanently delete file from your computer, need to wait and see if this will be useful or annoying feature for users?.
