Opera 48 now lets you import bookmarks from the Edge browser

Recently Opera added Export Bookmarks feature in version 47 and now version 48 has brought Edge favorites import installation. Until now, the Opera browser allowed users to import bookmarks and other data from Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox browser, and through an HTML file, it did not have the ability to import bookmarks from Microsoft edge. Today, the latest opera 48 in development added this. Yes! You can now bring bookmarks/favorites from Edge browser to Opera, here’s how it can be done.

Import Favorites from Edge to Opera

  1. Click on Opera Menu > More Tools > Import Bookmarks and Settings
  2. Choose ‘Microsoft Edge’ and select ‘Favorites/Bookmarks’ as items to import

3. Click ‘Import’.

4. Done. All bookmarks you have saved in the Edge browser will be imported into Opera and will be available for access under ‘All Bookmarks’ (opera menu > Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks (Ctrl+Shift+b)) in the ‘Imported from Edge’ folder .
