Restarting Firefox does not help, you will get the error again and Firefox does not offer To remove option for FDM extension.

1. Exit Firefox, use Windows Search to find [email protected], after finding it in the search results, open the folder, it should exist in this similar path: C:Users
2. Delete the entire folder, including the files it contains.
3. Restart Firefox, you will not see the error or the extension in the add-on manager, problem solved.
