After installing Windows 10, you may only notice the Trash icon on the desktop, if you want to add the Computer icons, also known as ‘This PC’ and ‘Control Panel’, here’s how you can do that. Though it takes a bit of digging into the Settings app, but we have you covered.

Show ‘This PC’ and ‘Control Panel’ Icons on Windows 10 Desktop
1. Right click on the desktop and select ‘Personalize’
2. In Personalization, select Themes > Desktop Icon Settings
Note: If you are using Windows 10 v1703 CU or later, your desktop icon settings will be visible under ‘Related Settings’ on the right side of the Themes page.
3. In the Desktop Icon Settings window, check ‘Computer’ and ‘Control Panel’ and click ‘OK’, they will be on the desktop.
