Webcams connected to PCs allow us to capture and save images of ourselves in front of the screen on our computers, WebCamImageSave is a freeware portable application that automates saving webcam still images in format (JPG, PNG, BMP) every 60 seconds by default, which you can change in your options.
Download the program’s zip file and extract its contents to a folder and run the WebCamImageSave executable. If your webcam is connected and working fine, you will see a live image of your webcam in the program’s main window.
If you run the program for the first time together with the program window, the capture options window will appear which allows you to select the directory to save the captured images, the option that automatically captures all still images for 60 seconds can be changed, you has the other options to adjust the JPEG Quality, date/time tag position and etc.
You can also manually capture an image with the shortcut key F8.
WebCamImageSave works on Windows XP/Vista/7.
